Suresh Krishna
President and Chief Executive Officer

Suresh Krishna is President and Chief Executive Officer of Protolabs, a leading digital manufacturer of custom parts. Krishna previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Northern Tool + Equipment. He has also held operations and leadership roles at companies such as Sleep Number Corporation, Polaris Industries and UTC Fire & Security. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology (Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India) and a master’s in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. 

Dan Schumacher
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Schumacher has served as our Chief Financial Officer since December 2021. Mr. Schumacher has been with Protolabs since 2017, most recently serving as Vice President of Investor Relations and Global Financial Planning & Analysis. Prior to joining Protolabs, Mr. Schumacher served as Finance Director for Stratasys from 2015 to 2017. From 2006 to 2015, Mr. Schumacher held various financial leadership roles at Rockwell Automation. Mr. Schumacher began his career in public accounting.
Mike Kenison
Chief Operations Officer
Mike Kenison is the Chief Operations Officer at Protolabs, a technology-enabled digital manufacturer. Prior to his current position at Protolabs, Kenison led the Americas region as VP & GM of the Americas, and previously served as VP of Manufacturing, a role he held since 2013. Before his tenure at Protolabs, Kenison served in several leadership roles within the industry including VP of Manufacturing at Cardiac Science, Inc.—a top medical device provider of defibrillator technology.
Marc Kermisch
Corporate Technology and AI Officer (CTAIO)

Marc Kermisch is Chief Technology and AI Officer at Protolabs. He oversees the company's global technology organization, leading its strategic initiatives and artificial intelligence (AI) solution strategy. Kermisch brings 25+ years of senior executive experience at technology and R&D organizations across diverse industries including manufacturing, software, and retail. Most recently, he served as CTO for Emergent Software, a full-stack technology company specializing in software development, cloud transformation, AI, and data engineering solutions. Prior to Emergent, he was Global Chief Digital and Information Officer at Case New Holland (NYSE: CNH), a $20 billion manufacturer of agriculture and construction equipment where he focused on developing autonomous vehicles, precision farming applications, and electric powertrains. Kermisch has also held executive leadership positions at Optum Rx, Bluestem Brands, and Red Wing Shoe Company, among others, and presently sits on the Board of Directors at American AgCredit and Crew Carwash.
